FAQs
What is your available service area?
Nice question! Our current service area is focused on the Upstate of South Carolina and extends outward as possible. Call for specific information regarding your gyms location

What materials do you use?
We use high grade Denali automotive vinyl. Durable, abrasion resistant, UV protected, and extremely resistant to moisture and sweat. We want our product to last a long time! But, if you have another preference, just let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate.

What method do OTHERS use to recover benches and equipment?
Excellent question! Many folks out there do what we call the "tuck and fold", basically like trying to wrap a present. They simply "wrap" the panel and staple in the back. This causes unsightly folds, wrinkles and creases.

What method does BENCH MENDER use to recover benches and equipment?
Glad you asked! Bench Mender makes actual patterns for the new material and sew together a surface and skirt to keep everything tight and right! Then we sew in a top stitch around the skirt seam. This not only looks awesome, but is a second layer of stitching to ensure a strong and nearly unbreakable bond.

What colors do you have available?
In stock we keep the basic and most used colors, which include: Black, Red, Blue, Grey
However, we can get nearly any color to suite your specific needs and keep in line with your company branding. Just let us know and we'll make it happen.

Where do you perform the work?
We come fully prepared and equipped! Most of our mobile shops are set up in enclosed trailers. These killer rides have all the stuff to be fully independent. This allows us to park nearby, but we don't have to be up at the building blocking valuable customer parking or needing to plug in to your electrical system.

Will my gym need to be closed so you can work on the equipment?
No way!! Most of the time, you and your customers wont even realize we are there. We only pull pads off ONE or TWO pieces of equipment at a time. We fix those and then move down the line. While a machine is being repaired we place a sign on the machine so your clients know what to expect and they are always excited to see the results!

How much do you charge?
The big question! Our pricing is extremely competitive and has been established with your needs and finances in mind. We have to eat, and so do you! Our product is a superior option to others out there, however we work extremely hard to keep our overhead down and pricing down as well. Let us take a look at your equipment and your specific needs so we can properly quote you a price. It simply is not fair to mislead or bait customers, we'd never do that to you.

Do you have a minimum charge?
Yes, we sure do. Our minimum visit is $200. Why, you ask . . .
Well, we spend a lot of fuel and manpower just to prepare and arrive at your location. We have to ensure that we can at least put gas in the truck and a sandwich in our belly. That is the purpose of our deposit structure as well. Speaking of which, check out the next question.

Why do you have a required deposit when I book an appointment?
Our deposit is the same as our minimum visit charge, $200. When you book an appointment, you are engaging a few cogs in the machine. Firstly, our schedule is based on your appointments. If you cancel, we have no work for that day and we go broke, its that simple! That is also why the deposit is non-refundable. However, when you keep the appointment, we simply apply your deposit towards your total final invoice for the day.
